Why is the product innovative?
1. The Niagara Foot Model 2 is the only inexpensive energy return prosthetic foot. 2. The Niagara Foot Model 2 (dervied from Model 1) is easily modified in the field and can accept a cosmetic cover that could be manufactured locally. 3. The design is more durable than current prosthetic feet available in developing countries. 4. The Niagara Foot Model 2 is designed to be mass-produced by injection molding. Therefore it is inexpensive and quality assured. 5. The Niagara Foot Model 2 is the only prosthetic foot able to be modified in the field to meet the physiological demands of individual amputees. |
